 This is the improved version of my magazine front cover. I've improved it by changing the layout and adding cover line about One Direction as this was one of the audience feedback comment. I have also included a cover line about interviews.

This is the improved version of my magazine double page spread. I have improved this by adding colours and changing the layout as the draft was really simple and colourless.

This is the improved version of my music magazine contents page. In this version I changed the layout from just a list to different sections to make it look more interesting and appealing. However, I may have to change the the image of Justin Bieber as the pictures have to be taken strictly by me.

Research and planning double page spread story

My double page spread is going to have the title "can i trust my bestie again??" this is because the main story is going to be about two best friends falling out. It's going to be about the main model of my magazine and her best mate. She will be talking about their relationship and trust issues between them. The characters names are Faith Phiri and Aleya Khan.

The two friends have known each other for 5 years and trust each other completely. They used to share every secret with each other until Aleya started hiding things from Faith. Aleya has been going out with someone for 2 months and hasn't shared this with her best friend Faith only for the reason that her boyfriend has made her promise that she wouldn't tell anyone about their relationship because he is ashamed of her.

Faith started suspecting Aleya that she is hiding something from her as Aleya was behaving a bit strangely lately so Faith checked through Aleya's phone and read all the messages he sent her. After reading all this Faith was heartbroken, she couldn't believe that her best friend could hide things from her. She's not hurt because Aleya has a boyfriend but for the fact that she could lie to her and she chose her boyfriend over her best friend.

On my double page spread I will be writing the interview I had with Faith about this issue. She will be answering my questions about how she feels.
                                                                                                                    

Research and planning double page spread pop analysis

This is an existing double page spread which I have copied from Google. I have chosen this one to analyse because I think this is the kind of double page spread I will be making for my music magazine. It relates to my pop magazine because the model in this double age spread is a pop star and the story is related to her. This is an interview with Beyonce and they are talking about her fan following and how she feels about it. It's also promoting her as the women of the year, this is very clear because its written in big writing on the top right of the image. I could use this idea for my double page spread where I will interview my model about their life experiences and and recent breakdowns.




 This is another example of a double page spread from a pop magazine. I can tell that this is from a pop magazine because the the model Justin Bieber is a pop star. Also, the story titles are about him getting bullied which would be suitable for my target audience and gender because you young girls would be interested in knowing about his experiences especially his fans.




 This double page spread is about Leona Lewis. This is an interview with her where she was asked silly questions and she gave outrageous answers. The model in the picture looks very happy and positive, this shows that the interview is very positive and fun. Also, it seems like the answers are very cheesy and gossipy so the it would interest the young readers because they like gossip. The layout of this double page spread is different than others because the answers to each question is in different sections so that its easy for the readers to read.
